Our building department, situated at our Aldershot Resettlement Training Centre, has always been very popular with Service leavers. Whether you’d like to learn basic DIY skills for home use, or are seeking some more advanced techniques for maintaining a business, our building department is here to help.
All of our DIY courses are delivered by subject matter experts possessing years of experience in the building profession.
Providing an overview of all the vital skills needed for carrying out DIY tasks in your own home:

Excellently run, well-resourced course with experienced instructors that were clearly at the top of their trade. Lots of information and useful tips and methods with a good blend of explanation and practical hands-on work.
An introduction to plastering, helping you learn the skills needed to handle tools correctly and discover the best application, finishing and patch & repair techniques.
A great follow on to our Property Maintenance course, you’ll learn how to tackle small projects at home and in the garden, including brick and slab laying.
Come along as a complete beginners and learn the basic skills you'll need to undertake small projects around the house. No experience necessary!
