We are the only company in our industry to earn this award.
And Fortune Magazine has listed ManpowerGroup as one of the World's Most Admired Companies 17 years in a row.

ManpowerGroup global statistics 2023
Manpower partnered with HGVT, the UK’s leading driver training partner, to launch the Driver Academy. This enhanced training programme equips students with the necessary training, certification and employment support to launch a new, safe and successful career as an HGV driver.
Launched in 2021, the Manpower Women in Driving Development Pathway is one of the ways in which Manpower is taking action to tackle the driving skills shortage and improve diversity within the logistics sector.
ManpowerGroup partner globally with Junior Achievement, an organisation dedicated to equipping more than 12 million young people each year with the employment and entrepreneurship skillsets to succeed in over 100 countries.
The UK arm of Junior Achievement is known as Young Enterprise.
Our CEO, Jonas Prising, is the Board Chair for Junior Achievement Globally and plays a lead role in shaping the global impact of the work they do.
Young Enterprise is a national charity that specialise in the education of entrepreneurial skills for young people. Young Enterprise works directly with young people, teachers, volunteers and influencers to build a successful and sustainable future for all young people.
As part of our ongoing support to Young Enterprise, we created a volunteering programme, which provides our employees with the opportunity to support and share their expertise with young people. There are now 32 volunteers actively involved in the programme.
A group of ManpowerGroup volunteers have recently been involved in judging the sustainability category in their Fiver Challenge national competition. Our volunteers then judged the most creative ideas from young primary school minds, providing feedback and guidance along the way.
Creating opportunities for young people and inspiring the next generation is incredibly important to us. That’s why we have built a community of volunteers armed with the skillset to support Young Enterprise and create better work readiness in young people leaving education.
Navigating the world of work can be a daunting experience, especially for a young person who is early in their career trying to figure out who they are, what they want and how to get there.
That is why we have invested in additional pastoral support for 18-24 year olds by developing The Working Mindset, a bespoke 6-week onboarding programme tailored for those under 25.
It is widely recognised that young people have been disproportionately hit by Covid and will continue to feel the effects for some time. The Class of Covid Report published by The Princes Trust, finds that over a quarter of young people in the UK think their job prospects will never recover, and over 50% feel less confident in their future now. The 2022 Youth Voice Census confirms that self-belief is at an all time low for those between 16-25.
In conjunction with this, the Office for National Statistics released its quarterly data set in May which revealed unemployment of young people not in education, employment or training (NEET), is at its highest since pre-pandemic at around 11.3%, nearly 3 times the national average.
With this is mind, and to support our commitment to the Good Youth Employment Charter, we have developed The Working Mindset. This programme is specifically designed for young people, supporting them with their thoughts, feelings, wellbeing, managing their emotions and much more. The programme focusses on 3 key areas of Self-Discovery, Self-Management and Self-Growth, all underpinned by Self-Acceptance.
You can achieve anything, if you believe in yourself.
All the topics were incredibly relevant with the working lives of young adults who have just joined employment.
The Kickstart Scheme was a Government flagship programme aimed at supporting young people aged 18-24 at risk of long-term unemployment into paid work programmes to gain skills and experience of work.
We partnered with Kickstart to provide internal opportunities across ManpowerGroup to 24 young people and supported them with best-in-class employability coaching. 55% of our Kickstarters then went on to roles within ManpowerGroup. We shone a spotlight on a further two of our Kickstarters, who were included in our ManpowerGroup quarterly Roadshow which highlighted the importance and impact of the Kickstart scheme to the whole organisation.
We also partnered with the Prince's Trust providing back office admin support to deliver programmes at scale for different employers whilst the Prince's Trust delivered employability training. We placed over 250 young people who weren't currently in work and generated over 8,000 referrals.
Participants were paid during the placements
Placements lasted up to six-months
The programme was launched to manage the expected economic hit from Covid on young people
Structured support was available, providing employability skills for young people as they went through the programme
The overall aim at the end of the programme was for participants to either go into long-term employment by the employer or go onto a training programme or apprenticeship to further develop their skill.

Movement to Work is a voluntary collaboration of UK employers committed to tackling youth unemployment, helping young people aged 18-24 who are not in education, employment, or training (NEETs) move closer to employment through provisions of high-quality work experience and learning opportunities.
ManpowerGroup have been part of the movement since it was established in 2013 and are committed to creating opportunities to support young people and their employability prospects.
Through Movement to Work, ManpowerGroup has helped young jobseekers acquire the skills and confidence they need to secure rewarding employment.
The programme has been developed as part of the wider Movement to Work voluntary initiative to support 100,000 young people into rewarding work. Other supporters include BT, M&S and Unilever.
As well as equipping the trainees with practical work experience within our offices, through Movement to Work we provide workshops covering job preparation exercises such as CV writing, interview preparation, and how to use social media for work.
