Five continents,one goal
ManpowerGroup’s drive for positivechange reaches out across the globe
From reducing emissions by 39% since 2019, to being the best place to work for LGBTQ+ equality for the seventh year in a row, ManpowerGroup is making progress in every market where we operate.
ManpowerGroup’s Working to Change the World Plan – a comprehensive programme to effect real, positive change – reflects the United Nations (UN) Global Compact sustainability principles and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
ManpowerGroup has been actively engaged with the UN since signing the Global Compact in 2006. In 2015, the UN established the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), its blueprint for a more sustainable future. ManpowerGroup supports all these important goals, and we are particularly focused on those where we can have the biggest impact:
ManpowerGroup believes in the power of partnerships and the value of collaboration. We continue to maintain and develop relationships with our clients, industry bodies, government institutions and education systems, all of which allows us to scale solutions and amplify our impact.
In 2021, ManpowerGroup was the first in our industry to have set emission reduction targets that are validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). As part of our transition to net zero by 2045 or sooner, our 2030 targets will see us reducing direct emissions (Scope 1 and 2) by 60% and our indirect emissions (Scope 3) by 30%.
